Technology in Schools with less than a thousand students is a Benefit or Burden?

"I run a school with around 300 students. As the founder and Principal, I handle most of the tasks myself. So, I cannot add another job to handle the software. I need a dedicated person to do this but can't afford one right now. " In some schools, the Principal tend to be the ones who take care of administrative as well as academic duties.

So, let's explore the role of AFPMS, if any, in these schools

Improved communication between the Principal, teacher, parent, and student

For any circular or notification, to convey the smallest detail, WhatsApp groups seem to be the most suitable choice. But the problem there lies in flexibility. By leveraging technology, you can send either a message to the entire school or as specific as a single faculty.

Grievances and Inquiries

It might seem that there is no harm if parents come and visit the school for simple queries like when the board exam notifications come, etc. The parent and school can easily communicate with AFPMS via their phones. This saves parents a trip to the school, freeing up valuable time for the Principal and class teachers.

Digital form filling and class allotment

In this scenario of school, the admissions are taken on a physical form. Now, be it for the attendance register or a school activity, these details are copied from one place to another increasing the workload of the entire staff. Also, the form being a piece of paper holds the chance of being misplaced in the worst case. Using digital form filling, the data is fed into the system once, which is the same as filling out a physical form, and then you are done. Class allotment, attendance management, activities, and the student's details are synced within the system.

Fees and accounts managed

Parents can choose from various payment methods like cash, DD, cheque, or UPI, but managing these along with accounting and CA records can be time-consuming. AFPMS simplifies this process, the calculations, fee plan, scholarship, and GST, everything is managed by the tool itself making the entire process hassle-free.

Exam results of all the students within a few clicks

Be the strength 300 or 3000, for a school from PG to Senior Secondary, exams are held with the same effort according to government regulations. There is one difference though, that in a school with 3000 students, the teachers have a lot of help with this process.

NO Excel and Macro Proficiency required

With everything handled within the software, the most important expertise prevails being academic leadership. MS Excel is commonly used by many schools even today to create results thus, adding another requirement for the school team. But with AFPMS, all you need to do is feed data to the system.

Added exposure to students

Many schools in the country are unable to extend benefits to students due to budget constraints. But, AFPMS changes that with technology.
