NEET is the entrance examination to your medical dreams in India. National Eligibility cum Entrance test is conducted by NTA for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary and other medical courses in India. It is a 3 hour long, pen and paper based test.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality : Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign Nationals
- Age : The minimum age of a candidate as of December 31, 2021, should be 17 years. There is no upper age to the clause now. So candidates older than 25 years of age applying for NEET 2021 will be provisionally admitted subject to the ruling of the High Court of Delhi.
- Candidates should have qualified or should be appearing in 10+2 system from a recognised board, with a minimum marks of 50% for general and general news category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/NCL
- The candidate should have English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry in their qualifying exams
- Other eligible candidates are those who qualified with any two of the Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Bio-technology from an Indian University or passed the first year of the University's three years' degree course in PCB
- Candidates can attempt NEET any number of times, until they attain the maximum age limit.
