National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level exam conducted by NCERT for granting scholarships to the meritorious students studying in class 10th. NTSE is only held for 10th standard students and the exam is conducted in two different stages – Stage I and II.
Exam Pattern
- It is a pen-paper based test, to be answered on OMR sheets.
- The total time for each paper of stage I and stage II is 120 minutes. (150 minutes for visually disabled)
- Total no. of questions asked in each paper of Stage I and stage II are 100.
- There is no negative marking in Stage I or Stage II.
- Paper I will solely be based on Mental Ability ( MAT)
- Paper II will be a SAT paper and will have Science, Mathematics and Social Science.
