BITSAT is one of the most competitive online, computer based entrance examinations for admission to undergraduate programmes of BITS Pilani . It is being conducted since 2005. BITS Pilani has campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad offering degree programmes in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Pharmacy, Management and Humanities. It has been ranked as the top non- Government (Private?) Institute as per QS Asia 2021 and QS India 2021.

Exam Pattern 2021
- It is a Computer Based examination with use of keyboard or mouse.
- BITSAT duration is 3-hours (without break).
- BITSAT exam is divided into four parts : Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning and the last section is Mathematics.
- All the questions in the paper are MCQs (objective type) ; each question with choice of four answers, only one being correct choice.
- There will be no time limit on when a candidate should complete each section of the exam and answers can be changed at any point, during the tie of exam.
- Each correct answer will fetch 3 marks, each wrong answer would have a penalty of -1 (negative marking) and no marks would be awarded for an unanswered question
- Candidates who complete 150 questions in the 3 hours duration will get a bonus chance to solve 12 extra questions.However, any candidate who chooses to answer these extra 12 exam questions is not allowed to go back to the original BITSAT exam and make any changes in the original 150 answers he/she has previously selected. However, there will be negative marking in that too.
- On completion of the exam, aspirants will be provided with their BITSAT score immediately.
