The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) is one of the most looked-up, computer-based online exams in India for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate courses in top engineering institutes, conducted by NTA. JEE Main has three papers. Paper-I is for B.E./B.Tech courses. Paper-II and Paper - III are for B.Arch and B.Planning courses, respectively. Students can opt for either one or two of them.

About JEE Main 2021

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) is one of the most looked-up, computer-based online exams in India for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate courses in top engineering institutes, conducted by NTA.

JEE Main has three papers. Paper-I is for B.E./B.Tech courses. Paper-II and Paper - III are for B.Arch and B.Planning courses, respectively. Students can opt for either one or two of them.

Paper- I ( for B.Tech and BE courses) is the gateway for admission to NITs, IIITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and other recognised universities/ colleges. It is also the first step to get into IIT. The top 2,50,000 students from JEE Main are qualified to appear for JEE Advanced.

Under COVID circumstances, JEE Main is being conducted four times, in the month of February, March, April, May 2021 for admissions in the next academic session. You can apply in any or all of these dates.

Language

JEE Main now being conducted in 13 languages. The languages are Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu in addition to Hindi, English and Gujarati.

After Exam

Along with the eligibility criterion, the student’s best of the 2021 NTA Scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.
