The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) is one of the most looked-up, computer-based online exams in India for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate courses in top engineering institutes, conducted by NTA. JEE Main has three papers. Paper-I is for B.E./B.Tech courses. Paper-II and Paper - III are for B.Arch and B.Planning courses, respectively. Students can opt for either one or two of them.
Eligibility Criteria for JEE MAIN 2021
- There is no age limit.
- Candidates should have qualified their final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognised central/ State Board or should be appearing for the final exam in this year.
- Only 3 consecutive attempts are allowed in JEE Mai
- Students appearing JEE Main should have passed qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as their main subjects.
- Candidates should have secured at least 75% marks in their 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards.
- For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
